During the procedure, your ophthalmologist can view the area through an endoscopic camera, which allows exact placement of the laser used for treatment.
This is an out-patient procedure which is performed in your ophthalmologist’s surgery center. It is so effective that many times patients’ glaucoma medication can be reduced or eliminated altogether. |
