Dr. Stephen J. Laquis specializes in facial, cosmetic, and orbital surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is fellowship trained by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Laquis’ education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University and a Doctor of Medicine from Valhalla in New York. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Yale University and residency in Ophthalmology at Yale. Dr. Laquis is also an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida where he trains surgeons in Cosmetic, Facial, and Orbital Surgery. He is Chief of Ophthalmology for Lee Memorial Health System.

Dr. Laquis is the recipient of the Cornea Lifetime Achievement Award from Yale University and the Marvin Sears Award for Clinical Excellence.
