Dr. Robert Sherman is a board-certified ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in retina and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Sherman completed his undergraduate work and Medical School training at New York University. His Residency and Internship training in ophthalmology was at New York Medical School and Queens General Hospital in New York.

Dr. Sherman served in the United States Army at Ft. McClelland, Alabama earning the rank of Major as he served as Chief of Ophthalmology. His hospital affiliations include Parkway Medical Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and North Miami Beach Surgical.

His professional associations and memberships include the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Dade County Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and the Miami Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Sherman is an avid hunter and fisherman and loves the great Florida outdoors. 

In addition to the practice of the sub-specialty of Retina, Dr. Sherman also performs LTK Laser vision correction.
