Cape Coral, FL, November 11, 2008 - Dr. Farrell Tyson, Medical Director of the Cape Coral Eye Center, is pleased to announce the opening of the Cape Coral Eye Center’s newest location at 900 SW Pine Island Road in the new Bonefish Plaza near Skyline Boulevard.
The posh new eye center features more than 500 pairs of eyeglass frames from kid’s frames to the latest in men’s and ladie’s designer eyewear, including frames by Kate Spade, Liz Claiborne, Hugo Boss, Tag Heuer, Fred Joaillier and Marc Jacobs.
Tracy J. Cowan, OD, will be the new location’s resident optometrist. Board certified and recipient of the Feigenbaum Clinical Optometry Memorial Award, Dr. Cowan is well schooled in vision science and optical disorders in both adults and children.
A native of the Chicago area, Dr. Cowan completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1990. She completed her doctorate studies at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994.
After completing her studies, she continued her training in the residency program at the Illinois Eye Institute, earning a Certificate of Residency in 1995.
